Wharfedale's Loudman is a revolutionary portable speaker system. Designed entirely witin the dimensions of a double CD case, it includes an amplifier and fold-out, stereo flat panel speakers. NXT Technology

LoudMan uses NXT technology to produce a full spectrum of sound from a panel only millimeters thick.
The exciters bonded to the surface of a specific designed laminate panel cause it to bend and flex. The board acts rather like a piano soundboard and amplifies the sound to normal listening levels. And the positioning of these exciters dictates exactly how the board responds to particular frequencies.
