The new HDMI enabled 8000 series Audio Processor is a reference quality 7 channel, high-definition audio processor and preamplifier.
The 8000AP is designed to offer optimal performance with Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, multi-channel audio and any digital optical or co-axial source.The 8000AP has an impressive feature set, however, the real elegance is in the cleanliness of each audio signal path. Unlike many such processors on the market, the 8000AP is completely dedicated to high-quality audio reproduction.
As well as twin HDMI inputs, digital and analogue inputs, a full 5.1 analogue bypass option allows SACD or DVD-Audio sources to be fed directly to the output stage for the cleanest possible signal path.
The twin HDMI inputs, read up to 8 channels of (up to) 192kHz audio transmitted via suitable HDMI enabled source components, and retransmit the HDMI from either input to your monitor or projector. All HDMI inputs and outputs are also fully HDCP enabled. Because this board is completely separate from the main audio circuit, the noise floor is remarkably low, and also allows for the future development of the HDMI interface.
